Information you provide directly:

  • Account information — your first and last name, login email address, password, country, languages, and music genre preferences, collected when you sign up or update your profile.
  • Payment information — the PayPal email address where you want to receive payments. We do not collect or store credit card or bank account numbers.
  • Tax information — tax forms you upload (such as IRS Form W-9 or W-8), which may include your legal name, address, and taxpayer identification number. This information is collected solely to meet tax reporting obligations.
  • Campaign submissions — the URLs of the social media posts you submit to campaigns, along with your associated social media handle as it appears in those posts.
  • Communications — information you provide when you contact us by email.

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage and device data — IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected through standard server logs.
  • Public post metrics — view counts and engagement data for submitted posts, as reported publicly by the relevant social media platform, used to calculate campaign payments.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your clipper account and authenticate your logins;
  • Operate campaigns, review and verify your submissions, and measure post performance;
  • Calculate and deliver payments via PayPal and maintain payment records;
  • Comply with tax reporting and other legal obligations;
  • Send you service emails about your account, submissions, approvals, and payments;
  • Match you with relevant campaigns based on your country, languages, and genre preferences;
  • Protect the Site and our users by detecting and preventing fraud, artificial engagement, and abuse.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

  • Campaign sponsors — sponsors of campaigns you enter may receive your submitted post URLs, your public social media handle, and performance metrics for verification and reporting. Sponsors do not receive your payment or tax information.
  • Service providers — we use third-party providers such as PayPal to process payments and hosting providers to operate the Site. These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their services.
  • Legal requirements — we may disclose information when required by law, such as tax reporting to the IRS, or in response to valid legal process.
  • Business transfers — if Genni is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

5. Payment Processing

Payments are processed through PayPal. When we send a payment to your PayPal email address, PayPal's own privacy policy governs its handling of your information. We encourage you to review PayPal's privacy policy at paypal.com.

The Site uses session cookies that are necessary to keep you logged in to the clipper portal and to maintain the security of your session. These cookies expire when your session ends. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Payment and tax records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws, even after account closure. Campaign submission records are retained as needed for reporting to sponsors and resolving payment questions.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to tax and payment records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices and Rights

  • You can review and update your name, PayPal email address, country, languages, and genre preferences at any time through the "Update Personal Information" page in the clipper portal.
  • You can change your password at any time through the "Update Password" page.
  • You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at info@genni.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law; note that we may need to retain certain records (such as payment and tax records) as required by law.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it and close the associated account.

11. Users Outside the United States

Genni is based in the United States, and the Site is operated from the United States. If you use the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
